Reid Filotto is a Partner at Filotto Professional Services located in Joliet, Illinois and has been with the firm since 2022. His areas of concentration include valuation, forensic accounting, monthly chief financial officer services, corporate and personal tax matters.

Mr. Filotto is a Certified Public Accountant, licensed in the State of Illinois, Certified Valuation Analyst and Certified Fraud Examiner. He is an active member of the Illinois CPA Society, National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts, and Association of Certified Fraud Examiners.

Mr. Filotto has prior experience in audit and consulting with a top ten public accounting firm located in Illinois working with publicly traded and privately held banking entities, along with hedge funds, private equity and venture capitalists. Previous to this, he worked for a government agency assisting in the investigation of financial crime and asset forfeiture cases.

Mr. Filotto has most recently been involved in both civil and criminal forensic accounting matters, ranging from marital dissolutions to fraud. In addition to forensic matters, Mr. Filotto has been involved in a multitude of valuation engagements for purposes of estate, marital dissolution, shareholder disputes, and mergers or acquisitions. In 2023, Mr. Filotto was named a ‘30 Under 30’ Certified Valuation Analyst by the National Association of Certified Valuators and Analysts.

Mr. Filotto received a Bachelor of Science degree from Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana, majoring in Public Financial Management. He additionally received a Master of Science in Accountancy from DePaul University in Chicago, Illinois with a major in Accountancy.
